Update on what's been going on in Ashford Town Centre

Lots has been happening this week in Ashford Town Centre -

On Monday a male who was wanted for a Breach of Domestic Violence Protection Order (DVPO) was spotted on Ashford High street, he was immediately stopped and arrested. Later the same day another male was witnessed committing an indecent act in the County Square. He was immediately located and arrested. VAWG is one of our 4 core operational priorities therefore we will always take swift and robust action.

On Tuesday a male entered Sports Direct and stole items of clothing, while on foot patrol police were able to immediately locate and stop him. It also transpired he was wanted for another theft shoplifting from Tesco on the High Street committed on 6/09/25 subsequently he was arrested for both shopliftings. 

On Thursday morning a male entered Boots on the High Street and stole multiple electrical items. Later that day, the same male decided to return to the same store and steal more items. Officers on foot patrol were able to immediately locate and arrest him. This male has since been charged, remanded.

Aswell as all of the above - Police have seized 2 x E-Scooters which were witnessed being driven down Ashford High Street.
